From the banks of the Volga to the Atlantic coast – mosaic icons for our Cathedral are already being created!

From the great Volga River to the shores of South Florida, sacred art is being born for the Resurrection Cathedral. In the ancient Russian city of Yuryevets, founded in 1225 on the majestic banks of the Volga, the world-renowned artist Yulia Prokhorova, together with her workshop, is meticulously creating magnificent mosaic icons for our cathedral, entirely by hand. Each tiny mosaic detail is individually selected, cut, and laid with exceptional precision, prayer, and reverence, gradually forming sacred images. The first mosaic icon is expected next month!
