Celebrating the Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women

On the Sunday of the Myrrh-Bearing Women, we honor the courage, faithfulness, love, and devotion of the women who remained with Christ in His suffering and became the first to witness and proclaim His Resurrection. As Father Yaroslav said from the ambo, our Sisterhood continues this same spirit of sacrificial service through their tireless and dutiful care for our parish — preparing meals, cleaning, decorating the church, and caring for all of us with love and dedication. Roses were gifted to all the women of the parish as a small token of gratitude and honor. In thanksgiving for their constant labor and service, the Brotherhood lovingly prepared a beautiful and delicious BBQ trapeza for the entire parish to celebrate together.
