What is the Golden Book

The Golden Books preserve Orthodox names in perpetual prayer, with the living and departed remembered during the Cathedral's Divine Liturgies.

Who can be in the Golden Book

An Orthodox name, of your choosing, may be inscribed in the Golden Books of Resurrection Orthodox Cathedral for eternal commemoration of the living or the reposed.

Why submit a Name to the Golden Book?

The Golden Books are sacred records where the names of the living and departed will be inscribed for perpetual remembrance in prayers and services. This tradition ensures that our loved ones are continually remembered before God, fostering a deep sense of connection and intercession. The Golden Books represent our ongoing prayerful support for each other, uniting us as one family in Christ, both now and in the life to come.

How do you submit a Name to the Golden Book?

$1,000 gift per name. Donation must be paid in full at the time of submission.

Once you make your gift, submit the GOLDEN BOOK FORM.

Please enter the full Orthodox name(s) for commemoration exactly as they should appear. Names can be written in English or Russian.

Golden Book forms are also available at the candle counter. Check, cash and card are all acceptable payment methods.
